Fred Walden worked at the store on Porter off and on from 1959 to 1968. In 1968 he took a job in Texas until spring of 1969. In May of 1969 Fred Walden met his wife Carolyn Walden at Sonic on Lindsey Street. They were married in December and for the first few months Carolyn worked at another job but it wasn't long before she came to work at Waldens Cleaners. Our cleaning was done well and done on time. The staff were very nice and enjoyably funny!
Prices are way too high.
Excellent !!! My shirts are always cleaned and pressed perfectly. Extra care is given to remove stains.. Very pleasant personnel.

They have saved me from the laundry room here!!! They pick up clean or wash and bring them back. They go by weight so doesn’t cost so much! If you mainly have regular clothes, give them a call. I find most times I have saved money since I don’t have to buy detergent etc.
I’ve used dry cleaners in four different states over the past 45 years. None compare to Walden in care of garments, speed and courtesy. I couldn’t be more pleased. Walden is a treasure to Norman and central Oklahoma.
Great job on shirts and pants. The staff are very cordial and polite. Always look forward to doing business at Walden’s.
