Let me start by saying Tripp's did a great job in cleaning and getting it turned around in a quick time frame for me which I am very thankful for and were extremely nice. With that being said I was absolutely shocked when I was presented the bill when I picked my clothing up. I had a men's 3 piece suit(jacket, vest, and pants), sport coat, and six shirts cleaned and the bill was $82. Very fast service and nice staff working the store. Drop off on way to work and pick up on way home same day. Couldn't be happier with that. However, be prepared to take it in the shorts when it comes to the bill. Almost $24 to dryclean a 2-piece suit in South Carolina is absolutely ridiculous. Both attendants I've spoken with said coupons are supposedly emailed to customers, but we've yet to see any in the 4 months we moved to the area and used Tripps. After sharing a not so positive experience with the email discount program, I received a call from the owner. He appreciated my feedback and explained that their new email discount program was very new and the company was working to improve upon the program and make the customer experience much easier to understand and utilize. Tripp’s laundered 3 large comforters for us over a one week timeframe. Excellent job on these bulky items. Friendly service! Received timely reminder comforters were ready for pick up! Placed them directly in my car! Great job!
Mixed feelings about Tripps. GREAT: customer service at their Irmo I-26 location. GOOD: One of the few if not only cleaners in the area. BAD: High Prices. No 1-day service. Break buttons all the time. Don’t offer a launder/press only service vs Dry cleaning everything 🤷🏻♂️
