Being new there, I was surprised to see the kiosk. A man came out and explained how the system worked and within minutes, I was on the way out with my claim ticket. I received a text saying that since I was a 1st time customer, I was getting a 25% discount on my order. I really appreciate that. The very next day, my garments were ready for pick-up. I dropped off a formal dress to be dry cleaned. It was a pretty quick turnaround, but they sent my garment to another Tide location across town without my knowledge or approval. When I came to pick it up after receiving my confirmation text the automated kiosk told me it in fact wasn’t ready. BEWARE! First time using Tide Cleaners. I dropped of two custom duponi silk curtains from the Curtain Exchange. They assured me they could clean them. Just a maintenance refresh - nothing crazy. and they are both RIPPED from top to bottom. And weirdly damp? I’m sick to my stomach!
Two issues which at the end of the day they were nice enough about apologizing for, but still want to share for others: 1) They put a staple through my silk blouse 2) With my first order, I never got an automated text that my order was ready. When I manually texted to inquire, I got a human response saying they think it is but would confirm. I never got a confirmation. One month later, I texted again to check and they said my order had been ready for a while. Not sure what happened.
Nick the manager is a terrific help! Very knowledgeable and the gown came out beautifully! Perfectly steamed ! Dry cleaning is also great no telltale smells of cleaning fluid
