I use to love coming here and supporting a local business, However this last pick-up was anything but nice. The prices have gone up dramatically. and yet that wasnt the issue. The usual young later out the counter is great! so was the previous alteration lady. Whoever the older lady was at the counter was just rude, lack of anthousiam and could care less of anything, and seemed like she couldnt wait for me to leave. Mind you there was no one else in site. I recommend you to not waste your time and money here. Very expensive for a single stitch work $45 but they said it was a hem job… I didn’t asked for my pants to hem nor hemmed my pants..and work quality is bad. So sad to see that this place has alot of potential to be successful but they’re too greedy.
I'll still go here for my dry cleaning but I had a terrible experience with tailoring some kick flare pants I brought in. A) these type of pants were a foreign concept to them B) they charged A LOT to tighten the legs but didn't shorten the hem so I had to go back and get charged again, separately for that to be done and C) when I got one pair of pants it turns out they were still too big in the thigh and they charged me AGAIN to do that -- even though it wasn't done right the first time. Turnaround is quick, and they have never damaged a clothing item of mine over the years. The yearly subscription fee is worth the price for the discount and convenience of dropping off clothing at anytime.
Silver Isles Cleaners Never disappointed me. Customer service is excellent, they always have a sile in their face and they also put a smile in my face whenever I go there. Thank you for everything
