Conveniently located in the River Oaks neighborhood, fast turnaround times and friendly staff. I paid for tailoring services for a pair of jeans and they were done extremely professionally. My hesitation for 5 stars is due to cost otherwise overall good service.
I moved to Houston from the Mid-Atlantic region on March 18, 2023 (1 year & 8 months ago) and finally found a cleaners that starches women’s shirts beautifully! They also cleaned a linen suit quite superb that it did not have any wrinkles whatsoever — appearance was smooth as silk. I am a happy customer and will remain loyal to River Oaks Cleaners in the future.
NOPE! Dropped a suit and two shirts off Thursday assured me they would be done Monday. Called at 5:30 since no one contacted me. Told me they couldn’t find it. 5 min later it appeared - not laundered. Asked what happened and girl at front told me the hurricane backed everything up, then she said the machine broke, then she muted me and refused to answer any of my questions. If I could rate this location a -5 I would. Horrible customer service. I dropped my wedding dress earlier this month for cleaning, only the bottom was dirty. When I called on Wednesday they couldn't find it, they said it was never received, then after being on hold for 20 mins, they finally found it and said it was cleaned. I went today to inspect it, well the guy could not find it in his system and said I don't know where it is, after pressing he looked in the back and found it, it was just thrown into the garment bag, when... read more
I’ve continued to use ROC for over a decade. They do an excellent job, are reliable and stand behind their work. Very professional and lovely owners and staff as well. I trust them to care for all my clothes, including my nicest designer items.
