If you're from the KC area you know that Pride Cleaners has been around for a long time! I grew up on PC. I've been to this location a few times and was a little disappointed with my recent visit. Apparently for some items, a waiver is required if the material of your item is tricky to clean. In my case, I had a vintage flapper dress. This process was a pain and just avoidable all together through proper communication. I've dropped off dry cleaning here just a few times in the past and they have always done a great job. This evening when I went to pick up my dry cleaning, they handed me a small plastic bag. They told me there was $60 in the bag and they found the money in a pair of pants pocket. Talk about honest employees....they could have kept the money and I would have never known. They lost my expensive suit jacket, and it was a very stressful week before it was found and returned to me without even a hint of an apology. I brought some items to get dry cleaned on a Monday, two of which (a nice dress shirt and suit jacket) had small stains on them. Tuesday I pick them up and the stains were still there, so they offered to re-do them. This was our 1st time using this cleaners and we did not have a good experience. When I got the clothes home and was putting them away I noticed my romper (which was brand new and had never even been worn) was missing the belt. The jumpsuit I took was still VERY wrinkled and for those two items I was charged $42.50. They did end up finding my belt and sent the jumpsuit back a 2nd time. It came back and still looks awful. Avoid this cleaners at all costs. This place sucks. Horribly overpriced. Had multiple dress shirts ruined by them cutting off buttons. Had personal items thrown away because they thought I "didn't need them anymore" and refused to supply a replacement or refund. Will never go here again.

I could not be more unhappy with my experience here. The person that I dealt with was not very knowledgable or helpful at all. I took my boots in to get cleaned and they came back looking awful. The sheep skin looks burnt and the boots shrunk to the point that I can no longer wear them. On top of that, I was told I would get a call when my boots came back and after waiting an extra week after the given time period, I called them to follow up and said they had been back for two weeks, but showed that no call was ever made to ... read more
