Press + Tailor is absolutely incredible! I came in with a couple of items needing repairs—my dog had chewed through the waistband of my pants (yes, really!) and the pocket on a pair of shorts had blown out. The pants were definitely a weird request, but they didn’t hesitate to take it on. I asked them to focus on function over fashion, and they totally delivered. I was recommended to take some of my uniforms here for dry cleaning and pressed by one of my coworker. The front lady, was super nice and outgoing! I able to get all my uniforms ready the following day. I highly suggest if you’re looking to tailoring, dry cleaning and press this place is the right place to go!
This business is now under new ownership, and I will not be returning. I had an experience that was nearly identical to Melanie Little's 1-star review nearby, if not worse. To begin with, I came here because I had an outstanding experience two years ago with the previous ownership group. When I first walked in, instead of greeting me, the manager—whom I presume to be the owner—was busy having a personal conversation. This place says they close at 6pm yet twice in a row they have closed way earlier preventing me from picking up my clothes. I have came at 4pm on both occasions and they were closed despite them having a sign posted on the outside of their door claiming they close at 6pm. My ticket even said pickup at 4pm. This place makes it almost impossible to pick up your clothes after work. Do not go here there are better or more consistent cleaners in the city, especially cleaners that stay open during their posted hours
My husband & I have been going to Happy Cleaners for 13 years, even when we moved and there were other Dry Cleaners closer to us. Happy Cleaners was 10+ stars always. The original owners sold to Press & Tailor. Gradually service/pressing of shirts and jeans deteroriated. Dress shirt collars were incorrectly pressed & we had to make extra trips to return and ask for it to be corected.
