I appreciate is that they have detergent and other laundry essentials available on-site, so it’s easy to grab what you need if you forget something. Most of the machines are in good working order, and I rarely have issues finding one available. However the machines are not big enough put in multiple beddings at once. That said, for the convenience of being right in town is nice.
Pratt Abbott is a convenient and reliable place to do one’s dry cleaning. The people there are very service oriented and helpful. The phone app they provide is also excellent, and keeps track of one’s items, cleaning progress, and time for pickup. I am super pleased with my experience with Pratt Abbott and will happy to keep using them for all my laundry needs.
I feel like it was a waste of time putting them in the cleaners because they came back the same way I put them in. They were too sweatsuits, black and white and a gold one. The black-and-white had a lint balls all over the sleeve and legs. nothing was taken off. I was unhappy next time I just wash them in the washing machine. I’ll probably get a better job done. if they couldn’t clean them, they should’ve just gave them back not charge me $24. I have four pieces came to $48 and change. Thank you for nothing.
Been coming here for over 10 years. I am 74 years old and today all the seats were taken. Your employee name Izzy, brought over his seat for me. When my washer wasn't starting he was right behind me before I had the chance to go tell him. He is always on the ball, helpful and courteous to everyone. He's smart and knows his stuff. The Saco Location did a good job. Having said that, I dropped off two new casual shirts to be cleaned and pressed and was charged $15.48/shirt. I assume they dry cleaned them as they are linen. Having said that, that is an outrageous price as this same shirt can be dry cleaned in Florida for $9. Insult to injury, I have to drive from Biddeford (out near Lyman) as the Biddeford location remains closed and delivery service to Biddeford was cancelled. Pratt Abbott used to be great.
