too expense
Wanted heel of shoe replaced and dropped of the pair. The desk clerk was unable to give me a price of the replace. About 2 weeks later when I picked up the shoes, Pilgrim had replace the soles and heel of both shoes can want fee of $58.64. I protested and they gave $10 discount. Never did Pilgrim call during the 2 weeks that it was cost so much. Plus the heels were attached via nails. I got ripped off for $48.64 for a job that should have cost 10-15$. Last time I will go to Pilgrim for any repairs for shoes.
I had a pair of sandals repaired and they destroyed them..There was glue all over the sides which made the leather peel off tape was put on the insole and when removed it also took the leather off!!!
I had a coat dry cleaned. It’s really more like a jacket. It’s 3/4 length with 3/4 sleeves. All wool. No leather or faux trim. I was very unhappy when told “that will be $20.00.” That is ridiculous! If the lady hadn’t given me 20% off, I was considering leaving it. You only got 2 stars because the coat is clean. I’ve thought for some time that this cleaners was expensive but this did it for me.
High prices
Absolutely horrible! I am a shy person, but I’m glad I stuck up for myself this time. Unprofessional, immature kids working there. The prices were ridiculously high! I was in shock!! I paid three times what I used to pay at my other cleaners. They didn’t give me all of my clothes the first trip there, then they finally found some, but it still wasn’t all of them. They finally found them on the delivery truck. Horrible on all counts. Never going there again!
Didn’t like being harassed about picking up my $120.00 order. Or my clothes were going to be sold!!! First and last time using this cleaner.
I left an Astros T-shirt to have the gem shortened. I put it on so the lady could fit it. I told her I wanted to keep it a "Shirt-tail " hem. (Rounded ) She didn't mark it, pin it or write anything down. I even asked her if she needed to pin it & she said no. When I went to pick up my shirt, it was hemmed straight across - not as I had asked -& barely long enough to my liking. I am very upset about what was done to my shirt.
