I have been trying to get my clothes for a while with no response from the owner. I filled a complaint with the Better Business Bureau but the vendor didn’t respond. I just want my clothes.
I called in a day prior inquiring about the best time to see the tailor. I was told between 8am and 2pm. I arrived the next day on my lunch break and was told that shortening and tapering a blazer was beyond their abilities. I was also told There was no tailor They ship out the clothes that are to be altered.
I tried going by a few times on Saturdays. Thought it must have been a random closure. Now, the door is covered with plywood and the phone number no longer works. Anyone have luck getting your clothes back?
The business has a sign that they are closing April 1 due to deteriorating conditions in Oakland. However, they have not been open for 2 days straight and my flight is today. I will need to spend extra money on clothes I don't need because they have not been open during posted hours in their last weeks of business.
Brought my clothes there on Monday for one hour dry cleaning, they said the earliest they could do was Wednesday for an express which I paid extra for but they were closed on Wednesday so I had to pick them up on Thursday, the same time I would’ve picked them up if I didn’t pay for express
