I was extremely disappointed by my experience. I purchased a preservation kit for my wedding dress at David's Bridal. When I received my dress back the box my dress was displayed in got very beat up during shipping. There was no packing material in place to protect it- the box was very tightly fit inside a shipping box and therefore, any time the shipping box was dropped and dented, my dress box was also dented. The whole process was a nightmare. And in the end when i finally received my dress in the box, it looked like i could have just done it myself at home. The dress looked crooked and forecfully stuffed from behind in the box. I personally wasn't impressed and will not be using thia service again.
This place is terrible!!!! I get the price, it's a wedding dress so they will always overcharge a bride. However, I noticed that my dress wasn't folded but tucked in this stupid box that looks like it has a dead body inside. The waist of the dress was too high so I was really disappointed. And I ended up opening it. My dress was still dirty. It had 2 wholes that was not there after my wedding. My dress had extensive beading on the neckline and down the back. When I sent my dress in, I also included a note saying to please not clean it if the beading would be ruined and I listed my cell phone to contact me. However, when I received my dress back there were three things that I was disappointed by: 1) There were at least 5 places where the beading has been pulled off and the beads were completely gone or noticeably hanging off. Sent my daughters wedding dress and received a box with only the slip on it. The actual dress was not in the box. The inspection tag says the box contains 2 things. When i opened it only the slip is there. I have made numberous call. The last. All they said they found it and wanted me to send my box back. My dress came back missing 2 stones from the belt. Not sure if they were missing prior or after. I just wish they would have notated it. Came back extreamly fast.
I sent my dress back and had it redone. The plastic display has already buckled in two places. In addition, there is moisture that is getting in my box and is collecting between the plastic and shrinkwrap. It has been in my bedroom the whole time. I am not happy and will not be sending it back a third time. So disappointed in this service. Not worth the money. Paid extra for writing and veil addition as well.
It was fast turn around service. I thought the box would be more compact. The top of my dress does not show well in the box. Hoping i got what i paid for but only time will tell.
I have sent my dress back twice because they have done a horrible job the first tome they removed my sash and this time they have my veil all smashed infront of my dress it looks like garbage im very dissatisfied with this company.
