The dry cleaner and launderer began as an inherited press shop as a means of settling a debt to the company’s namesake, Max I. Walker, in March of 1917. His entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to customer service has been passed down through five generations of Walkers.

Convenient, staff was friendly and item looked good. This was a competition dance jacket and they are really picky about how the girls look in between dances. So they all wear these jackets and it ID’s them. They get make up on the collars and dirty. A couple of the moms used a discount dry cleaner and some of the colors ran together . Drive thru service, items ready in Less than 24 hours, checks in with me if they feel a color will bleed, super friendly and excellent prices. They also do hem work. I moved from that area and drive out of my way to drop off my items just to remain a loyal customer.
These employees take pride in the work. They are very accommodating. I especially love the drive through for drop off and pick due to mobility challenges. Thank you crew on 168th & Q Street in Omaha. You're all the best.
I recently visited the Max I Walker at 168th and Q Street and was impressed by the exceptional service. Camrion really stands out because of his wonderful and friendly personality. I had a question he wasn’t 100% sure of the answer and asked for assistance from Amanda who quickly jumped in to help with knowledgeable answers. My close by Max I Walker location yesterday charged me $28.00 + change to dry clean two short sleeves shirts. They applied two up charges for fabric. Questioned clerk he explained the home office sets the prices. Yikes I will have to drive a couple of miles to an Independent cleaner's with better pricing.
