As a local resident, I’ve decided to stop using this business since the ownership changed we’ve noticed a lack of customer appreciation. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. Not only did staff argue with me and ultimately provide inaccurate information regarding the number of items I dropped off versus picked up, but when I later called to confirm what I already knew to be correct, I had to make another trip back just to retrieve my missing sport coat. John’s Dry cleaners in Niwot CO does beautiful work. Been going there for several years. They pay special attention to each piece. Very honest - they actually check your pockets & return items found in a little “Hidden Treasures” wax bag. What a nice touch. Just off the Diagonal at Niwot Road.
Unfortunately, I waited three plus weeks to get my backpack back without my two patches sewed on. They fixed a zipper on my pants which was great. However, I was told they could not sew two patches onto my backpack, waited 3 plus weeks only to pick it up incomplete. I was told both items were completed. I’ve been going to this Cleaners for years, they are great at what they do and always have my garments ready for pick up when they say they will. So nice to have a dry cleaner still in our neighborhood backyard.
The ladies who work at what once was "Boulder Cleaners" are amazing-especially Julie! However, under the new ownership I was told that there will no longer be an ongoing 20% online discount. The new offer will be a different discount each month. Not so happy about that so I'll probably seek a new cleaners even though this location is very convenient living in Niwot.
