Brothers Cleaners was originally founded in Raleigh in 1916 by Emil Hilker, a German immigrant. Emil’s twin son’s, Jerry and Jim Hilker assumed ownership of the business after his retirement and ran it successfully until the mid 1970’s, when they went their separate business ways. At that point, the business was handed over to our current owners, twins Tom and Bob Hilker, the third generation to continue their family legacy. Please advise if my clothes are ready prior to accepting payment...I had asked my wife to pre-pay... however, she was not given a total and when she said that I would be there to pick up that same evening, no one advised all of my clothes would not be ready. I understand things are not always under your control but the communication could have clearer. Thanks! Ron Brown
There was a nice man with a 2WD Yukon that was very helpful with info about ties.
Cindy was great. Greeted me with a smile and a good morning. My clothes were packed and spaced nicely for me to pick up.
The work was amazing, but I had a problem with the manager who I found out to be, later. Once I turned my clothing into her, this is 1st time I wanted to pay in advance, she told me I couldn’t because she didn’t know the prices. I found that strange, I gave her 9 pieces 7 tops 2 pants when I came back 2 days later my bill was $67. I will not be back she could have suggested laundering from the care tag. I hope the owner finds another manager who cares about his business. Regular tops!! Very disappointed.
My dress was new and but the material had such a strong unbelievable odor but thank goodness they were able to get it out.
