Brothers Cleaners was originally founded in Raleigh in 1916 by Emil Hilker, a German immigrant. Emil’s twin son’s, Jerry and Jim Hilker assumed ownership of the business after his retirement and ran it successfully until the mid 1970’s, when they went their separate business ways. At that point, the business was handed over to our current owners, twins Tom and Bob Hilker, the third generation to continue their family legacy. Brother's Cleaners is a great outfit (no punn intended :-) to do business with! The management and staff are incredibly friendly, their prices are very good, they acknowledge customer loyalty with coupons & special deals and they do a fantastic job!!! What more could you ask for from a dry cleaner?!?!?

I think for the most part Brothers Cleaners does a very good job w/dry cleaning and the basics. However, there's been more than one occasion when they have lost buttons on a blazer which caused further delays. Also the prices are a bit tad high & steep. $6.95 for a shirt?!?!?!? ....too high
